A Darker Shade of Red

Autumn wear can be tricky to get right. It is not cold enough to wear winter coats yet, but not warm enough for bare legs and arms. It is, however, a great time of year to put knitwear on display as later it will be hidden underneath a coat. Seize the opportunity to walk out in long-sleeved dresses, cosy jumpers and patterned trousers. Blazers and coatigans are also invaluable transitional pieces. Dark shades of red are all over the high street at the moment and are great for this time of year as they look rich and warm. Although we are all eager to get into our new season clothes, winter is long enough, so the woollen tights and polo necks can wait a few more weeks!
